Ensuring Accessible Worship for Everyone

At Curtiss Street Bible Fellowship, we believe in making worship accessible to everyone, affirming our commitment to inclusivity and support for all community members. Whether you're joining us for Sunday worship, attending a special event, or simply exploring our community online, we strive to accommodate all needs to ensure a comfortable and enriching experience.

Accessible Facilities and Community Engagement

  • Entrances and Exits: Our facilities are equipped with ADA-compliant automatic doors at the main entrance and restroom entries, welcoming everyone with ease of access.

  • Parking: We offer four designated ADA parking spaces directly near the front entrance, with additional spots often available for easy access.

  • Seating and Navigation: Clearly marked, reserved seating in our sanctuary is designed for accessibility, complementing the smooth transitions and level flooring throughout our facility for easy maneuverability.

  • Restrooms: Features like ADA-compliant stalls and grab bars aid in making our restrooms accessible to all visitors.

Digital Accessibility and Engagement

  • Virtual Community Building: We use digital platforms to connect with our congregants, offering live streams of our services and engaging social media activities that keep our community connected.

  • Hearing Assistance: A hearing loop system integrated into our worship center and multipurpose room enhances audio clarity for those with hearing aids, ensuring everyone can participate fully.

Support for Sensory Sensitivities

  • Sensory-Friendly Resources: We provide a calming room equipped with sensory aids such as fidgets, headphones, sunglasses, and a weighted blanket to help sensory-sensitive children and adults feel more at ease during their visit.

  • Quiet and Comfort: This private space is designed to offer a quiet retreat for anyone who might feel overwhelmed by the sensory aspects of a busy environment.

Support and Assistance

  • Care Ministry Team: Our onsite staff includes specially trained members ready to assist with any needs. We are equipped to provide support, ensuring you can participate fully in our services and activities.

  • Tours Available: Understand the space you will be visiting. We offer tours throughout the week to showcase our accessible facilities and discuss how we can meet your specific needs. Please contact us at care@csbf.org to schedule your visit.

Additional Accessibility Resources

  • Large Print Bibles: We offer large print Bibles to assist those with visual impairments, ensuring everyone can follow along with scripture readings and participate fully in our services.

Inclusive Faith Community

  • Barriers to Worship: We actively work to remove barriers that might prevent participation in worship, such as offering online options for those unable to attend in person due to health, transportation, or caregiving responsibilities.

  • Spiritual Resources: Through our website and digital platforms, we provide a variety of spiritual resources that allow congregants to engage with their faith on a daily basis, including sermons, discussions, and interactive prayer sessions.

Our doors open at 9 AM every Sunday for Sunday School, with worship services starting at 10:30 AM. We invite you to experience the welcoming atmosphere and inclusivity of our community. For any special arrangements or questions, please reach out to our Care Ministry Team. We are here to assist you!
